With over twenty five years of experience as a Human Resources generalist, Linda Bailey is a consultant, speaker, trainer and teacher on many Human Resource issues while emphasizing the employer-employee relationship. With a goal of “Helping Employers From Needing Employment Lawyers”, her expertise covers both crises intervention and continuing management solutions.
Her corporate experience has occurred in various industries, with a Fortune 300 company, and as a Vice President of Human Resources for a PEO, (a professional employer organization).
Linda majored in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. She also has a Masters Degree from Florida State University in Instructional Systems.
As a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) she holds their highest certification, the SHRM-SCP (Certified Senior Professional). She also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Linda has held numerous positions in SHRM, both on a local and statewide level, as well as in the Suncoast Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD). She is a member of the National Speakers Association, and its local chapter, and the Society of Emotional Intelligence. As a member of the teaching faculty of the Continuing Education division at the University of South Florida, she teaches a number of courses in the Human Resources field.
Linda lives in St. Petersburg with her husband Randy, their german shepherd – Athena and their cat – Beau.
